I need some help with the glove box lock. I have the actual locking mechanism but I'm missing the part that it clips into to hold it down. I've had a look online but couldn't find what I'm looking for….for that matter, I don't even know what the piece I'm missing looks like . I'll pop some pictures below but if anyone is able to help me out by pointing me in the direction of the part or taking a photo of theirs so I can see what is missing, that would be great!
As you can see there is something missing from that hole.
Thanks!
Alex.

A quick search on line and you need part No 14. Strange it's listed as a sealing bearing so not sure if the part number is right. 171857133C

might be worth giving your local Vw dealer a call to find out if they can still get it, vw heritage list it but no picture so not sure if it's the right bit.

Ill up load the pictures when my wife finishes her work and gets off the laptop so I get the pictures off the camera.
There is a screw and washer holding the catch on they are no.16 and 17 (don't know why there is 2 part numbers for the screw) I guess any old screw and washer will fit.
