Door gap passenger side

I've recently brought a golf mk1 gti other door aligns up fine but passenger side has a big gap at the top but back and front of door is ok ? Not sure if someone's put a door off a differnt car on or what ?

If its not a pattern door thats been fitted then I would check your front corner and front inner wing for damage / repairs. VW knocked these out by the millions so the door gaps are pretty spot on. From the picture it looks like the roof is high at the front. Any ripples above the b post?
Take some measurements from the drivers side from the top of the sill to the roof gutter but pick the same points on both sides.

I have checked for welds etc as all the interiors out and can't see any damage what' so ever not sure if it's a pattern door or not
