Chrome door handles(genuine)

Hi people! I managed to get myself a pair of genuine chrome door handles for my cabby we'll pleased with my find, got them for a bargain too! I swapped my barrel into one and fitted it, drivers side, but locking and unlocking has become difficult and also the window won't wind down either! You can see when turning the key that the window glass pushes in slightly so is obviously the mechanism is fouling the glass, any ideas? Are the gaskets thicker or something?
Any help is much appreciated 

Did the chrome door handles have the same insides as the ones you took off? There is 2 types of door handles workings.

Funnily enough on the chrome handles one had the same 'flicker' as mine and the other had what I presume is the other style of 'flicker', is this part the only difference in the fittings? Hopefully you know what I'm talking about, the piece that fits on the end that flicks the locking mech on the actual door!?

take em back off and have them next to the old handles side by side, looking closely for differences. you'll soon see the issue
