cabriolet roof replacement

hi all i have a 1990 cabriolet with an electric roof i am currently thinking of replacing the hood the quotes are a bit high at the mo so i was looking at just buying the hood and fitting it myself but am not sure of my ability is there anyone in west yorkshire or around ( will travel if need be ) that has done there own and would be willing to help me will pay for time

What sort of prices are you getting?
Just as a guide when I replaced mine myself a couple of years ago the hood was £150 and the tension cables £25, replacement foam seals £5 from a house window supplier on ebay, high heat glue £10. You need a staple gun and staples aswell.

I think I was quoted £300 for some to do it when I looked into it.
