1981 Mk1 Manual Hood Cabriolet Gap on rear window?

Hi all,

Hoping one of you cab masterminds can help with my little problem. Have just bought a mk1 cabby on a whim last week and am trying to fix a few issues. My main headache at the moment is that whilst the offside part of the roof seems to fit great, the nearside rear window has around an inch gap toward the rear of the window. The frame behind it did seem bent and I have managed to unbend it a bit but it's still way off. Is there any adjustment on these things?
