Question about front brakes

Hello again,

I have a question about the front brakes.

I am planning to upgrade my car's front brakes with VW calipers but I need to know if it will be a perfect fit or not. I need the front hub calipers carrier holes pcd diameter as seen below on the FIAT front hub visual:

But I need the same diameter on the MK 1 Golf front hub as seen below:





This is an information which is not so easy to find on the internet so I wanted to ask you directly.


Also it would be very nice to know your experiences and recommendations with brake upgrades. By the way, my car is a 1994 Alfa 33 16v with ABS and planning to use Scirocco MK2 1.8 16v front calipers as this is a perfect fit for your car and I think also mine too as the hubs are very similar (As seen on the visual below.) but I couldn't be sure about the diameter.



 

Any info yet?

Afraid I don't have one of the car to measure, as I suspect most owners don't.
