Uprate Brakes

I am looking at upgrading my front brakes to 280mm or as close to 280mm as possible with bigger calipers without changine around to much
has anybody got any ifnormation on this? ideally want it to be straight bolt on but what options are out thyere to uprate the brakes

all help appreciated

There are a few places that do a brackets so that you can add larger brakes

MK1 Golf / Caddy / Scirocco - Retrofication

The largest OEM route is 256mm using the calliper carrier off a 16V Scirocco (good luck finding one of those) or several Audi models of the same era - the key thing is the 76mm between the mounting holes.

Where did you find that? There was only 10 that VW imported into the UK so it's a very rare car and worth saving if an official import, why are you breaking it?

280mm G60 brakes are oem and brakets can be had from crazyquiffs etc I think
