Sump guard to fit a 1.8T engine

Post

Due to the 1.8T engine sitting low in the Mk1 engine bay, the previous owner of my GTI had cracked the sump by catching it on a floor mounted garage door stop.

Is there a shallower sump that can be used for the AGU/BAM engine and/or a metal skid plate available which provides some additional protection from grounding out?

Yeah I think ecs tuning do a shallow sump kit. It's not shallow by much. But has a steel bottom so it's much stronger. Used one on my agu mk2 golf.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Raise the car up from the ground if it’s dropped on to the floor on coil-overs then  you should not have any problems hitting the floor….  O_o
