Mk1 1.8t conversion

Hi all,

I'm currently doing a 1.8t conversion, I brought it from someone who had it running in a mk1 jetta. When I collected the conversion I was told the loom had been converted by tsr and that in terms of wiring all I had to do was connect one wire to the ignition wire switch? And the rest was to the engine bay!

Now today I tRied turning it over but nothing? Could hear a relay clicking in the fuse box but would not crank or anything? Also my fuel would not prime either? I have not touched any of the wiring from my original loom so don't know why that isn't priming?

Now does the fuel pump run off the standard mk1 loom or from the wiring from the 1.8t? I do have surplus wires that say fuel pump and alternator pin 4 from the 1.8t loom but I was under the impression they do not need to be connected?
