Is it a G60-specific performance camshaft? If so, then I understand that there are reasonable gains to be had. Can't give you a definite answer about the head (obviously you are balancing a lot of variables with forced induction) but there used to be something about this on (I think) the TSR website if I recall correctly… That said, common sense suggests that a polished and ported head in a forced-induction motor is going to provide a lower (relative) power increase than with a normally aspirated engine as there is so much positive pressure on the intake side from the supercharger. I imagine that you would indeed see a performance increase but I have no idea how much.
You probably knew all of the above anyway so apologies if no help!

Have you thought about increasing the engine capacity? There was an article a while back in Golf+ magazine about using the 2.0L block from (I believe) a Transporter as this was more than strong enough to handle a G60. If you are interested in this reply and I'll try to dig up the article. Unless someone else on here can remember the details.

The block is what you need from the transporter engine code AAC it’s 2 liter petrol, use a g60 head and head gasket is from the AAC engine .cylinder head bolts are for aac engine also but you need to cut washers off as they won’t seat properly into g60 head .I got washers from machine shop made up , I never fitted it in the end it’s still in the garage. Supposed to be good for 230 bhp
