You have added 1/4" to either side of the rim and poked it out by further 1.5"
So overall you have an extra 1.75" poke.
Should be fine as long as the arch covers them and the camber is setup correctly.
A wider track will make the suspension feel softer, ie the further you go out the less leverage required to compress the springs. It will understeet less. It will put more stress on the bearings.

I'm running 7.5j effective et3 and so far on the test drive it's acceptable.
For track or sporty driving I'd run no lower then et30.
