Inlet and Exhaust Valve open?? :/ Please help :D

Hi there

I spilt my head and block apart to check condition of pistons and bores and valves and to replace head gasket.

I lined the to grooves on the timing belt sprocket and the cam cover before I removed the belt, when I removed the head the inlet valves on cylinder 2 where open ever so much and exhaust valves on cylinder 3 where open ever so much.

My question is what is this down too?
Is the timing chain off a tooth or is this normal? The valves themselfs seem in good condition and dont seem bent if that what people are thinking.

Thanks in advance :)

Sounds normal to me, very basically if no 1 is on just about to spark, no 2 or 3 will have just fired  so no 2 or 3 (don't know the firing order) will be next to fire, requiring either exhaust or inlet valves to be opening/closing.
