02a clutch cable??????

I have read lots of pages and cant seem to find the answer im looking for.

What is the best clutch cable to use?

Consider a hydraulic conversion though as most of those parts are NLA and have been for some time mate.

Cheers for the reply. I would like to covert to hydro but I've just finished building my car and don't want to have to take everything apart again. I just need to find a cable that is suitable to get me through this season then I can convert. The cable I used is a little frayed but works i just want to replace it before i get stuck somewhere.

1.3 mk1 closest fit i know of, you may need to chop down the inner cable as they can be a bit tight

I think rubjonny means 'outer' cable sleeve. I've read 3cm needs removing. Although i might just move the metal retainer on the bracket by 3cm if i still get the range on the mechanical lever.
My bits are arriving so I should be able to trial fit soon..

yeah the cable sleeve, or whatever you want to call the metal tubey type bit the cable goes thru
