Spark plugs: 1.5 GX

Post

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for spark plugs for the 1500 JB engine? Hubby seems to favour Bosch Super 4's, but thought I'd ask here before we ordered any.

What do you guys think?

Put your reg in on Euro car parts to check but should be these.

By the way this section is for small block engines, you have a large block so posted in the wrong place.

1988 Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet 1.8cc DX, K-jet. Daily drive. 317,000 miles and counting
1978 Mk1 Scirocco GLS 1.6cc FR, Webber carb. Weekend toy.

ECP don't seem to list Super 4 plugs, or at least I couldn't find them earlier

Anyway, apologies, I just assumed the 1500 was a small block. Can a mod move this please? :)

Click on the link I've posted in my first message and it should take you to the page with them
ECP part number 408330010. £3.31 each. I can find them if I select a 1980 1.5 golf

Yeah, I realised that - they didn't come up off my reg number, so I was looking for the Bosch code so I can cross-reference it.

She's having a bit of a rough time in the ignition department at the moment so I want to change everything for the correct parts.

Thanks for the help though!
