pics from saturday @ VW festival

Decided to go to vw festival on saturday, always one of my fave shows, would have prefered sunday but have to work!

Some great pics/cars there. I like the GTI side stripes on the caddy, that looks good

Out of interest and not to start a 'Fire Storm' in percentage terms, how many do you think there were that looked 100% original?
Not 'Concourse' in that sense but as they would have been coming from the factory, down to the wheels, lights, paintwork (repainted of course).

The reason I ask is I'm interested in how many today of the Golf MK1's sold remain completely original from the millions that were sold.

Not knocking the Mod's, some of my closest friends and enemies have Mods!  

I would say 1-2 cars were completely original, or didn't look modified anyway.

Cheers mate, as I've said I'm just curious that's all.

For example, I know of about 10 MK1's in Austria that look like they came out the factory or have original VW extra's and one is mine (to be fair there might be more but no many).
To be fare they are a handful that are untouched but with no MOT's (for many years) and some with no V5's for sale.

Back home it maybe different but I'd say your numbers are not far off the mark (waiting to be crucified) and this is 100%    Back to the event!
