Hi guys,
Ive had some coilovers fitted to my golf for quite some time now, and ive just evened the ride height at the front as the passenger side was sitting higher. In order to do this, i've had to wind the coilover all the way down to the bottom pretty much, whilst the drivers side has about 35mm thread left……
What can be causing this? New suspension time maybe?
Any help would be great, cheers,
Matt

Do both coilovers have helper springs in them and the same number of support rings etc?
Did you fit new top mounts at the same time?
Did you fit/replace the little metal sleeve inside, if you renewed the top mounts too?

Both helpers are in. All rings are in place.
The top mounts are lowering ones from coltech and are exactly the same. Both coilovers are built up in exactly the same way

ok where have you measured from, to determine the suspension is the same height both sides? For example, did you do before and after measurements from the centre of the wheel to the bottom edge of the wheelarch, and therefore know 100% that both sides are lowered the same amount?
Did you do the work on a level driveway?
