That would Leave Sunday free for driving the mk1, will know more by Saturday evening.   :mrgreen:

I'm doubtful now. My Mk1 Golf's top mounts have finally given way (must have been last week's trip) and I don't have the spares on the shelf to sort out in time. I'd feel such a fake turning up in a Scirocco again….

we could share top mounts and alternators to make a whole car! lol

I'll be there at 11.00………in the Freelander  8O , on a plus note Alonso will make a cup of tea at his house if anyone wants to pop over with me to pick the engine up  :mrgreen:
