Wrexham/North Wales, Black Rock Sands, Sunday December 7th

TBH I'm not bothered with road racing anyway, its not terribly sensible. Come to Santa Pod and pull up alongside on the drag strip and its a different matter, I'll be doing my best to go as fast as possible! Its all just a bit of fun/banter/whatever. Its a Mk1 Golf meet tho, best to bring a Mk1 Golf if you can…..hopefully we might see some others coming out of retirement and dave_dub will hopefully have his fixed in time too.

Dunno how fast mine would go down the strip and in fairness wouldnt really want to try it either. I know its fairly quick thats all im fussed about, and it makes me smile. But it would still be faster than your mk1! LOL

0-60mph is about 6.5 secs for your car, and 1/4 mile time approx 14.3 secs.

dunno think so it goes foward and backwards and round bends so im happy

Looking forward to my first proper trip out with the Wrexham and Chester club. Any idea how many golfs are going?

I think it'll take 2 hours for the West Midlands to get there, but we are leaving at 10.00am, so hoping to get there at Midday  :y:  :y:
