I know a route too take you around Caernarfon Castle to the other side where we could park up near the water and we could go on to a beach called Dinas Dinlle or further down the Lleyn Peninsula  :dontknow:

The place I'm thinking of is called Y Foryd directly opposite the castle but the other side of the water (some of you may know it)

I'm not sure of the route you lot were planning on taking into North Wales, ideally for me I could meet you on the A55 or A5 near Capel Curig but I don't think you're coming either of those ways?

Pretty sure we're not taking the A55 (it's too straight for our liking) GTiMad knows some back roads to get us up there   . Dell aren't you coming a bit further inland to join us on the drive  :mrgreen:

Simon, your on your own swimming in British waters  8O , best go put the ice blocks for the cool box in the freezer   .

You're probably going to go the Bala way again so will have to get a name of a place off you and set the Tom Tom up to find it if I don't know where it is.  Might be an idea to pm me someone's mobile number please.

Erm no beach that you can actually drive onto, nearest one is Dinas Dinlle which isn't too far from Caernarfon, you park near enough on the beach - its where Caernarfon airport is and you can watch all the old planes taking off and landing and doing all kinds of things in the air  

what do we bring guys?

I think the Irish Sea is a teeny bit too cold for that, not sure if there are any first-aiders coming  

Looking back in this threat GTIMAD suggested you come through Betws-y-Coed and along through Llanberis to Caernarfon - this sounds like a good route then I could meet up with you in Betws-y-Coed.
