sorry couldnt make it to the meet, finished work late.

was a good meet being how quiet it was!

saw a random mk1 in the car park which was really cool!
so I left a note on the window so they came over and had a chat, seemed quite keen on popping over next meet.

great to meet you roseyd!! you guys are really sound, hope to see you next meet! good luck with your parts that youre getting today, dont be frightened to ask advice about the parts yeah?

shame it was so quiet but still good to give the old girl a good run! thanks Rajan for making sure I got home ok!

Well I'm currently snowed under work wise and was across the waters missng this meet on Tuesday  

Aint seen you lot for a while now and miss the crack (not your crack Bruce… that builders butt you keep showing when crouching by cars  :wink: )!!!!  Really, really, reallyhope work don't book met go over there again 1st March…. mk1 needs a good run out… what was the random mk1 like?  Gunna get lighter an brighter as we head to show season  :mrgreen: !!!

i will attempt to remember to come to the march one might bring a newbie along with me if i can persuade him.  As he's the person thinking of buying Gruber, i reckon meeting you  guys might be worth his while

guys - bad times!! I wrote of my mk3 friday night….quite badly (wasn't my fault i may add) times are desperate to get another car - if anyone knows of any?! strict budget tho cos insurance is rinsing me!!

sorry to hear the bad news chelle, dont suppose it was a mk3 1.9TD? Im sure funk probably knows of a few cheap cars? :dontknow:

I hope no one got hurt- cars can always be replaced…..people not!!

we all walked awayfine -  I only have bruises on my legs and a scratch on my neck from seat belt!

no one was hurt - bloody lucky  - still in shock from it all -  

tell ya what tho - air bags hurt!!

I massively hunting for a car - seen a mk1 tin top 1.5 in nottingham - complete standard - 1982 - looks a bewt - and its cheap as - dont think they know what they are selling -

i was getting withdrawel symptons then as the forums weren't up and running - if i keep the mk3 and break it down and sell bits- i wont get anything well not as much as i would from my insurance

well silly van was on a curb on dual carriage way - ran out of fuel and a even sillier woman slammed on breaks instead of going round - when there was load sof room - and i didn't have enough room to break in time - no i wasn't up her arse neither was i speeding - id just come on from slip road so was doinga bout 50 - 60 - brucie if you pm me your moby number ill send you pics of my mk3 it was bad!!  and the difference between damage to her stupid toyota!! lol

im looking at a mk2 tonight - show quality only 46 000 miles!!! my mate will let me have it for 1000! be well good - if its alright -

im glad im alive too - got a lot of shows to go to this year xx
