Yet another good day, this time with the bonus of a Sunday Roast (minus the veg…)
Had been hoping for a better turnout tho…    never mind…

Steve - hope the journey back wasn't too bad. Superb looking Mk1. Hopefully some day I can have paintwork that's half as good as yours

George - I'm loving those seats… still can't believe their was something  on my Mk1 that had you stumped 8O

Andy ( & Dad )- car looking good as always, what happened on the way home? I thought you had some secret route to avoid the congestion! but, after your manovure on the roundabout I ended up in a business park!!! didn't fancy going back down the slip road into the queuing traffic so headed thru dunfermilne & crossed over at Kincardine… bit of a round trip but it was a nice night    Eventually got back to outskirts of Edinburgh at 7.30pm…

Yeah it was good to come down and put a few faces to names, just a pity so little turned up but the banter was good lads  8)
Had a better drive on the way home once i had my tyre pressures set and as you say it was a nice night for a drive and at least the car got a good run out of it

just noticed this,i was also down at e38 and never came back up the road till monday. Had a read through and noticed the suggestion off the falkirk wheel,in case for a future meet then the south side(tamforhill) where the wheel car park is shut for evenings and early on sundays but the northside(camelon)is open all the time and has a restaurent on site(sorry cant vouch for grub)ill be up there on thursday night educating the chavs at the local monthly cruise if theres anyone interested in heading up

You guys don't forget anything do you. Your nearly as bad as my wife. It's not the 32 mph that would have slowed me down, but the repeated stops to puke up.

sorry couldnt make it lads had a slight blowing up of the engine problem but hopefully itll be back on the road for the next one

They are just about visable in Andrew's photo below… (middle car)
