Cribbs is cool for me (closer) but I don't mind stretching the legs to Taunton as it gives the beeatch a good run - nearly got 23 mpg last time! (but I did have the roof don the whole way  :wink: ).

Ok then Asda car park at Cribbs

Right at the end of the car park, doug it is off the motor way m5 very easy to find, come over the bridge (old one) and carry on and come off the m4 onto the m5, when on the m5 dont come off the 1st junction but the 2nd and you will see asda from the motorway,

Alternating could potentially be a good idea.

There are probably enough of us now to maybe split the southwest up a bit into more events. Two or maybe even three venues? The hardcore among us could do all of them if they wanted of course as we'd alternate the venues each month

We need to do a bit of research to find out where most people live. Then suggest some venues and then it'd be nice if we all had a say in which venues are chosen do you think? maybe do a poll?

How do people think feel about all this? Shall we start another topic up about this or something?

OR… Maybe an event a month in one location is just too frequent I seem to get this feeling from others, agreed? if this was the case then I expect more of us would be up for travelling further.

If your having the meet at Cribbs it quite a drive for me from Brixham, i might be able to makeit now and again but taunton is a lot closer, alternating would be good then people can make up their own minds wether they would like to go or not.

So is the meet on the 23rd April at Cribs causeway or Taunton?

Hopefully be there anyway as i havent been fora while!

On the way back I got as far as the M5 roundabout and sheared the mounting bracket for the PAS. As this also holds the gearbox linkage in place I was farooked  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:
Had to leave my poor baby on the middle of the roundabout and walk back to B&Q. With some jiggery pokery with some zip ties I managed to bodge something that enabled me to just about change gear.
What a nightmare…
Apart from that, good to meet some new folks.

I managed to get to about 3miles from home when mine started sputtering, think it was misfiring as i had no exceleration! seemed to be ok this mornin tho.
