are you even getting a spark? start witht the basics, take a pulg out rest it on the engine witht the HT still connected, get a buddy to fire the engine and see if theres a spark, if not do the same but with main coild HT on the engine, see if thats sparking, it should be big blue spark, if not then change it, then if its still not firing check you dissy cap/rota arm, then if its still not firing check your points gap, if its still dont fire after all that, make sure your fuel pumps ok, and you have fuel in it!!

Definately getting fuel, can see it squirting when pumping the throttle, getting a spark from main lead but not individual leads, adjusted the points but still no luck, dont think its the condensor cos i recently replaced it, cap and rotor are new also.   What could it be? :dontknow:

Check to see if the little carbon spring loaded pin is in the centre of the dizzy cap! I once had one where it came out and of course, I got no spark either! Just a thought!

You need to do a check to see if your points really are opening and closing. Turn the engine over (using a spanner on the crank pulley) and look at the distributor, with the cap off.

Non't forget the lick test on the points!

I'm deffo going to autosport show. It's simply the best show in the country if you're into your motorsport. I think the lads at uni are sorting out a mini bus or something. Should be a good crack.
