Milton Keynes Meet - 2nd November - Pre-Xmas!!!!

We know this is the best Regional MK1OC meet. Lets keep it that way.

Confirmed by the Chairman at this years AGM that we are the best regional meet in the country

What does 2010 Milton Keynes Region have to offer. Curry night, Rolling Road, Treasure Hunt, Show & Shine, and representing the club on National and Local shows throughout the year.

What time : 7.30pm onwards

Q. Where do i park?
A. In the car park next to the other Mk1`s (first left as you go in)

Q. What if my Mk1 isnt on the road just yet?
A. Come along anyway, there is a great source of knowledge and a local member may have spare parts

Q. Will my car be photographed and put on this fantastic website?
A. Yes, Spudfingers will have is camera ready for snaps. You may even be videoed and up on You Tube

Note.. Please add to the thread if you need contact with Spudfingers as he is responsible for 70% of the posts on this thread

Ant/Raj - This is the last meet before our xmas meet!!!!  Are you guys doing the secret santa again and if so should we get a list of names?

For all those that didn't make it to the MK meet last xmas here's what secret santa is:-

1. Each person posts on here saying that they would like to get involved
2. Each person goes to the November meet and draws a name out of the hat (not their own name obviously).
3. You buy something for the person you picked up to the value of £5
4. You wrap the present and give it to me at the december meet (put it in a non see-through bag).
5. I then put them all in one bag and hand them out mid way throught the meet (or when everyone who's entered arrives).
6. We open them up and watch peoples faces (comical presents go down well)

It's a bit of fun for £5 and builds on the friendly atmosphere… no pressure to do it though it's completely open.  I won't go round asking people to join I'm only going on the list of names who sign up purely so it's optional.

Last year Ant and Raj also organised a best dressed mk1 award so…. are we going for that too Ant/Raj?

Ant - I hope Preston gets better quick mate.  Can't be nice for you and Claire bud  :cry:

thanks for the well wishes for P - he is walking better and is not in as much pain now. another week and he should be back to his normal self and then he can take the role of Big Brother

There will be best dressed mk1 in Xmas style. Raj and i will sort out a xmas related prize.
