New stat. ? What's this where does this go? Is this recommended because I ran out and got it hot ? Advise please

Coolant yes I know what that is and the metal pipe for safety and the rubber one because I don't have one.

only a few quid from stealer or gsf

You can test the stat easily enough in some hot water - no reason to change otherwise. If you do needs new O ring to go with it. Normally I flush the rad (take it out), heater matrix, etc then refill with G12 and de-ionised water.

£6 for a stat. I should have seals.if you need a hand let me know.

Sorry to here about the troubles with cars on the return leg, unusually we made it home with no mishaps!
Well done to all of you with your fancy dresses….I promise I'll get sorted for next year.

On a downside we found our missing cat today, but unfortunately he had passed away…..had a burial service in the garden this afternoon. :-(

had a brilliant weekend, shame it had to end but, I doubt I would have last much longer, only got 7 hours sleep in " hello kitty" half size sleeping bag
whole weekend.

& I found that  weird bottle opener in the grass under the table when we were packing up, it did make me worry about the people I had just spent the weekend with
