I "almost" know where that is !!  Isn't there a big Rolls Royce dealer around there called P & A Woods ( not that I own one !! )
And Shabby the Cabby is running a lot better, had her tuned yesterday !

Hmmm …. About 30 minutes to Braintree, and another 20 onto Dunmow, it's a distance, but I'm good with it !!

P&A Woods is more Dunmow.

From Braintree stay on the A120 past Dunmow until you get to the M11 Junction and then head off to Bishops Stortford (stay A120 West at the junction roundabout. Then hang a left at the next roundabout, keep going and just before you get to the town the Nags Head is on your left.

I might turn up for the first time. If I wait until my synchro project is finished, I might be too old to drive.    



It might give me a bit more inspiration to get it finished. All the floor pan has been modified and primered. Just another 1000 jobs to go.

You don't have to be in your Mk1 to come, we've had all sorts turn up - A Scirocco, Mk1 Fiesta, Range Rover, Caddy.

Maybe we should have a non-Mk1 meet where we all bring our alternative transport!

glen, dont think it will be done by next meet mate lol at the moment im waiting on a engine mount to come in the post, once i have that i need to tackle the cam belt, water pump and then slipping on the old 020 gearbox before the big old lump can be shoe horned into the bay. after then its all about electrics and boost hoses!

what fun ive got to look forward to eh! will probably be sometime earlyish next year, hopefully before the stansted show!

Seriously, if you need a hand anytime……  Cant help with a 20v conversion but I make a mean cuppa!
