hi guys im new to this as well and i have a 1.1 mk1 im 17 and on provisional licence is there any chance i could tag along? my dad would come as well if hes up for it  . the cars not working at the min but i think its only a little hick up should get it working tomoz is the B & Q near a BMW garage i think i know were it is and will we be goin on any motor ways?

HI bud, of course your welcome, more the merrier, but think it would best if your dad drives the golf just incase any little accidents.
Not clued up much on blackpool area myself, but as regards motorways i dont think you'll be needing them due to where your located. but of course on a provisional you can't drive on them, like i say best your dad drive.
The postcode for the B&Q has been put up, if no sat nav use google maps to give you a clue bud.
Before we drive through the lights we are feeding our faces 1st at a chippy Dano the organiser as arranged.
Hope you can make it bud, will be nice to put faces to members.

madmax…. I think that you're thinking about the Blackpool B and Q. We're setting off from the Bamber Bridge one (Preston) and meeting for grub in St Annes. Come up there if you want though. No motorways, we'll use the coast road in so it'll be busy but we can take our time.

I'll ring the chippy on Wednesday night with a guide to numbers so he knows how much to cook!!!

Perhaps, if you know what you'd like to eat when you get to the chippy, I could ring ahead and order. that way we wouldn't have to wait as long.  :wink:

The chippy is in St Annes. I think that we could meet on the B and Q car park at Bamber Bridge and then collect folk along the way. The way I see it we would have A5OPY, staffords, VW-Lucy, Peddersgolf and me to set off from there. Travelling on the A roads, up London Road, through the Docks onto Riversway, along the A583, onto A584. Stop at St Annes and then through to Blackpool.

Post code FY8 1LP.

VW Lucy will be riding in the back of mine as she has a pooly arm and cant drive  :cry:  but I think the brother-in-law is attending in his Beetle  but will confirm asap

i am gutted would of well come down to show off my sportline sitting on its new coilovers and splitrims but broke my windscreen with my steering lock     ops:  and its not beening fixed till 1st as got a tiny bit of rust which is being done at the time in the body shop

Wish i could make it lads and birds but i start work at 9 in burnley so cant risk it
