Hello everyone,

I am new to the club and I live in Burnley, I was wondering if I could meet up with you the next time you get together.

I can't make the 29th as I am at V.W. Action.

When will you be meeting again?

Hi, welcome along mate.

Shame you can't make the 29th. Keep an eye out on the board<<<<<<< under the Regions section and any new dates will be announced there and in the Regional Meets thread.

I put 7pm. That way it will give time to get in from work, wash and brush up and get over to St Annes for tea.

Is that good for everyone else travelling from a bit further away???

I'm struggling a bit guys, the mk1 has been off the road for 2 weeks now, i've been waiting on a part from Germany and it arrived yesterday but they had ordered wrong bit  :twisted:  so i'm still waiting.

Don't cross me off the list yet though  :wink:

Wish it was a fancy mod, its an accelerator cable bush that holds the cable to the pedal, mines perished away and it caused me to break down on the way back from liverpool   :banghead:

I think 'lighting up time' is usually around 9pm, around the time it goes dark. We need to aim to be somewhere in the traffic for maximum effect for when they come on so at lastest we'd need to leave the chippy for around 8.15-8.30.

Setting off any later than 7pm, taking in travelling and eating time doesn't leave much room for error.

Where you you meet us jenvey16v? Chippy?

you might want to get a flexi in there andy, or see about fitting some new engine mounts!

7pm is fine for me, staffords how'd you get on with the bush, i do have a brand spank one here, i bought incase but mine is nearly new anyhow, luckily bought one for carl aka predaotr also as his was goosed, if you need it i will post recorded to you fella monday, and when yours come just post us that one

has had new mount  3 months ago and there is a flexi between manifold and first box where its cracking so im well cheesed off…. :dontknow:

The chippy is in St Annes. I think that we could meet on the B and Q car park at Bamber Bridge and then collect folk along the way. The way I see it we would have A5OPY, staffords, VW-Lucy, Peddersgolf and me to set off from there. Travelling on the A roads, up London Road, through the Docks onto Riversway, along the A583, onto A584 and through to Blackpool.
