I turned up and waited until gone 9.00, the barman told me you were not there as he knows you so assume it had been
cancelled.   Please let me know the next meeting, and hopefully the weather will be better and I can bring my Golf.

I think the barman might be thinking of Lawsy as I've only been there 3 or 4 time before.  I got there just before 9 & parked in the carpark to the left off the pub, I was wearing a green hoddie if that helps   .

The next one would be the 17th Feb

Massive apologies guys…I made it 100m down the road and my car made an awful noise, checked oil pressure and it had none…

I'll reserve further judgement until I can check what's up with it in the morning.  In case it's something stupid like a loose bracket, piece of trim or something and i''m over reacting.  But not a chance i'm going to chance driving it down tonight.

I've talked about it a lot but not actually gone through with it…but it will now be for sale

Gutted.

I am sorry I couldn't make, I did genuinely set off to come down!

Not a clue tbh.  Started it again this morning and it started fine, but with sketchy oil pressure, then the metallic noises started again so shut it off to prevent damage.  I'll have to pull the sump and have a look.  Maybe I've damaged pump.  The sump, pump and big ends are less than 2 months old and the sump has taken a hammering already from berkshires loverly roads.

Either way, am writing up spec at the moment.  Hopefully I can get it sorted, would to prefer to sell running if I can.

So nobody actually turned up then?? Im very glad i didnt make the effort then, or my part polish temper would have emerged!!!!!!              :wink:

Well Agita was there until 9ish & I was there until about 10:30 but didn't see each other.  
So I would say it was not one of the busiest meet

Update…Oil Pick up bent from pothole impact…looks like that's dislodged the plastic baffle that's then shattered into loads of peices causing teh noise!

All bearings look minty still, woohoo!

All good then.

Sound like you could do with one of these.
