I should be able to make some of the meets and i think the wiggin tree is a good choice pretty central with good motorway connections. I always thought Preston brook was a bit of a daft place as it being on the extreme edge of the north west  another 10miles or so and your in Wales it would be like saying lets have the next meet at a pub 12 miles north of Lancaster the folk up there would be pleased i suppose.

Dont ask what your club can do for you, but what can you do for your club?

getit fixed man,
would love to have it fixed for the meet on sunday but as I am traveling back from Yorkshire today looking at arriving back at home about 3pm, I don't think I will be able to get it fixed in time.

Its true - wherever you plan to have a meet, the local people are happy and the people who are far away - moan!

I agree but if we keep it as central as poss geographically then no one can have any excuse to moan. The good thing about Wiggin tree is its reasonably central and if a trip was on from there its only about 25mins from Southport etc.

Nice meeting Tom, Tom's GF and Mark again, we had a couple of drinks and chatted a little. Sorry if it seemed like I moaned a lot. The weather was great - should have brought the cabby, but I felt like a run out in the black GTI.

I would have come if the Golf was ready  , bearing in mind the general vote was for wiggin tree I thought a good turn out would have been on the cards.
Paul, Danny I'm up for convoy from Hilon Park Services next Saturday to Gaydon, should be out the bodyshop on Friday  :) .

And where??? I think we need to organise things giving a little bit more time for opinions to be sought, and more clarity. 4 out of the next 4 weekends have VW shows of one kind or another, so realistically……after 8th September????
