It'll be the 10th anniversary of the first regional meet next month for the club! NW leading the way back then.

A warm night for a car meet for a change! 10 cars arrived on time…. Followed by Eddiebear a bit later making 11. Well done Eddie for make the 'A road' effort all the way from St Anne's!

Thanks Dan just as well I did the A roads as I broke down on the way home and didn't back untill 230AM

Decent turnout, and great company.
I prefer the older meeting point for several reasons, and it'll be good to be back there next month.

I nearly put the car into a hedge on the way home as those headlights are like candles! I only realised I was on a sharp corner, when I was on the apex of the corner veering over to the other side of the road on the back roads from Chorley.

There were a good few photos being taken early on at the meet - is anyone sharing them on here? I didn't take any as I was too busy chatting!

Was that the bend going out of Chorley towards Croston, past the old 'rubber factory' dropping down through S bends???

Just about half a mile past there actually. After the dip and the sharp right.

Thought it would be! 

In my Mk2 Escort Ghia me and my mate came down there at night, post Game Bird night I think and as I started breaking my mate said "going a bit quick for the bend" - just as the back end broke away and we skidded 180 degrees coming to a rest straddling the white centre line!!! Lucky in two ways,
No traffic coming in the opposite direction and not going straight on through the hedge (now fence) and down the steep slope. New tyres were bought and I went slower on bends!!!
