This weekend!
Held annually on the Beach Lawns in Weston super Mare, the 6th 100% charity event Cruise to the Prom is lining up to be the biggest year yet.
With the date secured as Bank Holiday Sunday, 25th May 2014, put it in the diary now and bring the whole family for a trip to the seaside!
With many local attractions within a stones throw of the show, this could be the perfect family day out you’ve been looking for.
Entry to the show is charged on a Per Vehicle basis of £5 in cash, payable on the gate to one of our marshalls where you will also be issued with your CTTP commemorative sticker.
The cheapest days parking you’re ever likely to find at the seaside and every penny of it going directly to very worthy local charities.
New for 2014 - a specific vehicles for sale area on the lawns
Entries to the show are strictly limited to Volkswagens, Audis and Porsches Only
Sadly there can be no exceptions to this even though yes it is a very nice Corsa.
The Cruise
Meeting at a local spot around around 10 miles away at 9am, whereabouts to be confirmed. We will wait until 10.45 before cruising en-masse to the Beach Lawns.
There will be a caterer at the meeting point if you’re in need of a tea and bacon butty while you give your ride a last minute buff with the polishing cloth.
Maps of the route will be available for download in the weeks before the show, and CTTP road signs will also direct you should you become detatched from the cruise.
Expected arrival at the Beach Lawns is 11.30am where our marshalls will direct you to your appropriate lawn to park up.
The Show
In the spirit of making this our biggest year so far, we’re encouraging you to bring out all your old school toys too. This might be the first show of your year to give them an airing! Show us your BMX’s and old school rides, your cool boxes and picnic sets. Strap the Totrod to the roofrack.
There's a new Show & Shine Trophy for Coolest Display as judged by a mix of Sponsors and members of the public.
Whether you’re cruising solo or coming as a part of a group, every vehicle parked on the lawns will be entered into the Show & Shine event, no matter whether it’s a 50 year old Bug or 2 year old T5. Don’t be shy, it's not what you’ve got its how you rock it. Pre-booked Club displays are wholeheartedly encouraged!
Winners and prize givings will be announced at 3pm
Anyone up for this??
