bournemouth area meet * loads of pics pg3! *

so it seems there are a few of us in the south dorset area, around bournemouth, poole, christchurch etc so lets get a meet up going.

i'm up for most sundays, but not too early!!  so is anyone else interested???
i was thinking of ringwood area, or a forest pub maybe?

Yep - definitely game when the weather warms up (and the car gets taxed again). Ringwood / Forrest work for me - Sunday mornings also good.

Hi, I might be able to make it on a Sunday, after bodywork finished, hopefully Feb and Ringwood/Forrest would be OK, possible beach area in Summer.

richievr I live in Bournemouth at the moment. I've bought a Mk1 1988 Karman Clipper with a friend. We've had it for about a week and currently planning what to do with it in regards to modification etc. She is completely standard at the moment and is showing her age a little bit but I'll make a build thread when the work begins. I took a couple of pictures this afternoon after giving her a clean.



I drove past an owner of a Black Mk1 Clipper today in Parkstone, you don't know who that may have been do you? Keep me posted about any meets you plan, it would be great to meet some fellow enthusiasts.

Definitely April - mine isn't going to be taxed in March given the stupidly vast amount of money it costs to tax these things….it costs more than my Audi to tax (ish) and is substantially slower….despite the Audi having a massive hole in it's boost hose and the Golf having GTI in it's name and being red!

There is a pub called The Fighting Cocks near Fordingbridge that is in quite a nice area. The owner/chef owns a vw camper for sale too (the whole reason I stopped there the first time).

Alice Lisle looks nice, I've never been their either which is a plus haha! I'm looking forward to this, lets hope the sun shines bright on which ever day we settle on!
