Ventured to the dark side.... for now!

Post

Not many will approve but i sold my Mk1 a couple of month ago which i had owned for 3 years - boooooo:oI have gone to the dark side and now own a piece of gas guzzling jap scrap!
But dont worry, the mk1 is not dead inside of me, i will own another one day.
Anyway! Hear she is 2005 Nissan 350z GT which has just turned over 23,000 miles.
I dont plan on doing anything drastic to her, only a aftermarket exhaust so i can hear the V6 roar  and the wheels re-powder coating (yes im fussy)
Be kind, try not to slate it too much!! Im still a paid member, and Ill still be going to the AGM if i can afford the fuel bill!

No slating required - very nice mate!!

I have a friend with one and another about to buy one. I'm still yet to get a ride but have spoken to owners who can't speak highly enough about them, including one racing driver who said his stock car, aside from some slightly uprated suspension, was one of the best handling road cars he's owned.

Looks the danglies mate

(And anything with more than four cylinders sounds good)

Looks good mate, I was considering one of these as just sold my daily but went for a mk4 R32 in the end because I needed more space in rear seats, looks like a minter though :-)

Cheers guys! Yes im going to enjoy owning this i think!

I was looking at R32's as another option, but they were more expensive for me to insure being 19  :P
Dont think i made a bad choice though

Not bad at all at 19 - insurance must still be a crippler though?

Insurance is fully comp, in my name, 2 years ncb, parents as named drivers and its £2404.08!
But my mk1 was 2600 when i was 17. and that had a 1.1 in. I like to justify it that way haha!

That's not bad at all really - in the scheme of insurance being expensive - still a rip off!

Cheers Ice!

Yes its a rip off, but it could be worse.
I cant wait till i no longer have to consider selling a organ on the black market to fund car insurance!
