Well …….!

At lunch break I appear to have bought a powdercoating system and possibly aquired an oven, purely by accident of course!

Maybe I should rename this thread JB metal finishing solutions

Nice job. I was considering doing something like this myself.

What would you say the blaster could get through attached to a 10cfm compressor?

Post

my original compressor was 9cfms and it did it fine, i just had tow wait every now and again to allow the compressor the catch up with me. but other than that it worked fine :)

i will warn you tho it is addictive :)

What was up with the MK2 cabinet?

If you want the PSD Boot Sticker file, it's here: Boot Sticker

nothing major wrong

it was a little small a rocker cover was the largest thing i managed to do

it wasn't a complete seal around the lid, hardly leaked but not perfect

the vision panel wasn't good, the size of the box restricted what you could do with it so decided on a new design

all in all it was successful and a good idea but could be improved, so i have done :)

so the mk3 cabinet is 99% finished

total extra cost £32 on timber from B&Q but so happy with it, should be the business

so the size altho looks bit is no bigger in floor space than the RUB (really useful box) but just taller

fits like a peech in the space, raw mdf form

then removed and the holes cut in the front to take the gloves and extraction, and undercoated (trying to use my 1/2 tins up)

had 1/2 tin of red so thought let do it

then this evening i mounted the door and everything else, looks the business :)

2 lights installed, outdoor ones that were in the RUB just needed some new wires

underside of the perspex i gone for some asitate again to protect the perspex, i will get a peice of glass eventually but this will do for now

:)
