Ferguson TEF20 Tractor

This one works!

After an abortive attempt with a late 1950's David Brown with rotten tinware and a seized engine, I now have 1/2 part share of Fergie TE20 Diesel from 1956…..

Kept at mates in Halifax, its pretty good condition for a 60 year old working vehicle. Needs some TLC around the edges but mechaniacally sound. Previous farmer owner started with a tow but we simply sorted the starter circuit wiring and, IT LIVES…!

Also sorted and fixed a wobbly dynamo pulley and a wobbly front bearing and changed engine and transmission oils (about 30 litres….), flushed cooling system and made a start refurbing bits with painting the front wheels, soon to be fitted with new tyres.

As long as you don't smooth the body work and fit a big bore exhaust and lower it,keep it original is best

Used to work with an old fergie years ago, pretty capable machines for their age! It was a TED20 with the TVO engine.  Good luck with your project, happy ploughing
