Ok now to bore you with my front seat  problems  …..


This is the seat when i 1st bought the car  

so i decided to strip the seats out of the car  and  vanish foam soak them and leave the for 2 hours to soak THEN  jet wash them with a jet wash cleaner  ….and boy did the muck and satins  come out of them

But then after i heat dried them                   

Fully strip the seat down off with the cloth and  out with the knackered seat base  thats  caused a hole in the cloth  



 

The metal seat base was quite dirty and rusty  so i washed them down and TFR'ed them  then ground the rust off , zinc primed them  and final full gloss top coat  

Right  now to take the driver side bolster hole  





bought  a very dirty 2nd hand rear bench seat of a very helpful man called raja  

Striped that down VANISH and LENOR  it mmmmm smells lovely now and very clean  washing machine don the trick  …….. picked my panel out ready for the refit












and the seat covers all washed dried and ready

seats came up nice  

when i bought the car i knew it had had a little bump on the osf corner

so intoo my mate body shop for a quick lick  of the front panel  , front a rear bumpers  and the bonnet  

boot lid was heavily dinted  and there was poor paint work on the bumpers and bonnet  

used clear over base  and it took 4 days to match the colour at my work colour is slightly greyier than the colour chips  , but happy with the outcome  and its a perfect match  

Headlight bulbs needed updating these  are far to warm





so led side lights and philips white H4"s

I have been using mark at classic- vw for a lot of my parts he has been really helpful  . i wanted a back box with i bit of a bigger pipe to fit the body kit whole  but i didnt want it to look to big so mark sourced this nice sound cool looking back box fits and sounds a treat
