2009 model Citi Sport VW Golf Mk1

For a short time I swoped these rims for some tsw Imola 16", but we swoped back soon after.

After this a few things changed, I found a original vw grill, painetd the badge, found an old set of wheels and refurbished them.

Clever use of those playing cards! ;)

I'm trying to work out still what the spacer blocks are for in your suspension springs. Are they to limit travel?

Yes. Since i dont have coilovers, the back is lower than the front which looks bad, so I fitted those rubber blocks to the back to try and lift it a bit.

Well I havnt felt any difference to the standard suspension, no funny things. So… short answer YES. I'ts not ideal, but it still works fine. If you know what I mean.
I wont do this on a Golf R but for this it works.
