mk1 caddy b5 a4 tdi

hi  all  i am new to the caddy/golf but not new to the vw scene i  am a vw t4 driver i have done all the afn tdi conversion myself but thats my toy my partner has always wanted a mk1 caddy so we have brought 1 now so this is a different learning curve for me just need a point in the rite direction plz..

question …  i have a b5 1.9 afn a4 donor.. loads of posts on the mounts driveshafts ect so i think ive kinda got my head round that … but just a little confused in the wiring i know i need to weed out all the stuff i dont need as i did with my t4 …do i need to get rid of most of the caddy loom and wire up to the a4 loom like the light indicators so they go through the a4 fuse board?  whats the best way to do this  ? been looking around carnt seem to find much so any links would be great
