So nice to see it like this, I think the arch/wheel combo, ratio etc is all spot-on. Love the colour but knew that would be good.

It is coming along rather well and now I have the funds to finish off what I have had to make do with over the years  

Great news, I bet you can't wait to be driving it!  

So been a while since last on here and the \mk1 is still ongoing with major changes

Yep been out a few times this year including a weekend camp out at Quex Park

Nice one, I do like your MK1, reckon the overall look is pretty timeless  

So acquired new throttle bodies,G60 injectors and G60 loom ,so its goodbye troublesome carbs hello instant happiness

oh and a little treat for the front is a BBS lower bib spoiler



 

So as it is not hot in the slightest went and played with the Golf BBS spoiler cut about and fitted,still requires a little fettling but happy so far and Kamei lip spoiler finally after 2 years LOL

 Found these old pics of my Lhasa Green donor car ,this is how it was when I had finished with it!! probably worth a bomb now couldn't give it away in 2006 ended up crushing and burying it in my dad's field

You're probably right - how times change!!

So today we have acquired a  2.0 16v 9A Corrado engine ported and polished head ,uprated cams and 1K miles only we is happy!!!

Oh nice!! I love these engines!!

Sun is shining best get down the garage and unearth the MK1 !!!

Best unearth the engine that's been in my yard as well!)

She's still alive and in one piece!!!
