Plenty of lube, threaded bar but the bush kept folding versus sliding in, I used the bush washers also to try get the bush to be central, kept fighting then noticed my rubber hammer and pop in it went.

Bearings and hubs pressed in.

Next thing I could do with is some old cv joints to hold the bearings in place when I take the car off the spit.

You'd think so but the journey has a lot longer still to go.

I'm thinking black s1 bumpers, black waist trim and no chrome 

Now with panels fitted….

I suspect this will come together fast.

I'm not so sure, it will be a rolling shell very quick but been let down by the so many companies with engine, gearbox, wiring harness etc

Yeah I understand, I do a lot of my engine and trans work myself with pulled motors I buy. But it takes a lot of tools and I have access to a machine shop. Too bad you don’t live close we could build together, mine is just supposed to be a pretty, fast driver, yours is on another level man, it’s going to be cool. Btw I have some mk1 motor goodies laying around, nice g60 ecu etc if you or anyone needs anything like that.

I've no real rush to get it built.

I've got an r32 engine in bits but u sure now, I liked the last 20vt one I had.

I've got the front hubs fully built up now with Mtec 280mm front discs and some new temporary Cj joints so I can roll shell around.

Just need to built steering rack up tomorrow then I'm set for building next week.
