I used a pre 83 cabby boot floor in my tintop, there's an extra panel that's welded over the side section but it's the same once removed.

Yeah that's right the early cabby floor was the same as tin top then changed it 83/84.

My brother has a 89 cabby so I've checked his too.

A few updates.

It's on the spit now and the floors been cut out to show it needs inner cills now so only the tunnel not getting changed in the middle.

The now passenger side floor has gone in, new inner cills to go in next then outer cills.

During that it will expose if the front sections of the rear chassis legs are also needed.

Thanks for the offer but I've decided to go for a brand new custom made wiring loom. 😬

A little update.

Now the new passenger side floor is in the inner and outer cills are chopped out. Rear chassis legs look ok for the front section of them, I have rear section repair sections to go in.

Is anyone still following 🤷🏼‍♂️

It was just feeling like no one was watching the build, on Instagram the interaction seems more thats all.

I still like forums that why I've got the build on here.

I don't know why I keep getting drawn to green when I'd probably never buy a green car 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is the main battle I've got going on, the colour choice! I can't powder coat any of the new running gear that's coming from mark Carter until I decide the colour.

If you blink it's looking like a car from one angle.

Internal bracing finished and welded into inner cill and seat mount making it all work together.

Doors on and gaps been set mint 🙌🏻

 

Friday night update.

New inner and out rear 1/4 repairs.

Rear sill section tied in.

Rear arch to back section tied in.

Check the photos out 👍🏻

Also tabs fitted in the passenger side wing for the hidden wiring.
