I was told its actually a 24mm cylinder of a leon cupra? there is no real reason iv got it just that it was the same price as the mk2 16v item.
iv only got a 256mm calliper setup from an astra GTE they are sharp and do work well but i suffer very bad fade on the track which hopefully new pads will sort out.

So have been getting the gearbox stripped down and cleaned the last couple of days. iv never actually took one apart before but didn't seem to bad.
Nothing seems too look damaged either which is good, the rivets that hold the crown wheel to the diff were a right pain to get out!






I also made a bracket for the clutch master cylinder which turned out a lot easier than i thought



Then my secret weapon turned up!!

Please educate the stupid, what is that weapon and what does it do?
