please don't use wing nuts to clamp the battery terminals. I know you will replace them with something suitable soon.
Wasn't planning to. What's the objection to them?
hateful things, more so on terminals when you want a good secure connection.

Got them from eBay mate. They're Aerocatch ones which is what I would advise getting as there are lots of fakes out there. Cost me £50 I think from memory.jimbo198966 said
Hi mate. Looking good.
where did you get the bonnet catches from?.
message me if you like mightneed some for mine as the inter cooler won't fit otherwise…
cheers!
Not the easiest thing to fit in the sense that you only get one shot at it. Take your time measuring, checking and double checking where you want them and all will be well.
Mine are the flush fit ones mate for info. http://www.aerocatch.com/aerocatch/plus-flush-120-series/120-2100

That intake is a piece of art!interested as to where you got you electrical cables?
All electrical cable came from http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/home/homepage.php who I believe now offer a discount to paid members of the forum
As for the Megafuse holder and fuses themselves they were from eBay.
Most expensive bit was the cabling

Finally got my ali tip fitted. A fine piece of work Brad.
Have relocated my washer bottle to the boot as well so come pay day I will be buying the hose to run to it
Have got a smaller steering wheel now but I am not sure I like it. Spent a bit of time tarting it up. Comments welcome.
More soon

Got a fair amount of work done today fella! Even if the golf did decide to give me a brake fluid facial
Most people in the good old days would use 'Brylcreem' or 'Gel' now a days but oh no, 'Brake fluid' with a hint of or essence of 'BRAKE FLUID!

Does it fit right? From the silicone template and tight space allowing, pretty happy with that! The other pipes to do next
Took a bit of persuading mate to get it in but its in now. Had it all painted up beautifully until the brake fluid leak which stripped most of it off
