That's the original stuff - it's a felt underlay with a heavy bitchumen based top layer over it. works like a mass-loaded vinyl I guess.

You can get new pads from Newton commercial. Cant recall price.  Ive got a set somewhere.. obviously didn't put in leech as I didn't pull carpets up in 5 yrs 🤣

head busting week car starts 4-5 seconds it
stops running turn the key starts 4-5 seconds
it stops running tried it that many times starter
motor shot but on a better note running this morning
if rain stops another starter motor to fit
