boxes  and change the fuel

another good day of hunting acquired
accumalator also in tank fuel pump
swirl pot radiator with fan  few bits of
pipe work breather and vacuum success

Breaking For Spares no longer

Strange the way the carb cars don’t have the extra cut out in the front for the radiator…
Not sure I would trust that mileage as the numbers don’t seem to line up very well?

If the cars been pushed around without the drive shafts fitted to the hubs it’s worth adding 2 new front wheel bearings to your list as they don’t like being used not under tension.

looks like a good solid cabriolet to start with which is a bonus..
picture of my daily without the front bumper, the drip marks around the holes is all the waxoyl I keep covering the car with.

I would not think it will matter, just make sure you fit a GTi radiator and a water cooled oil cooler. There's plenty of air flow from the grill area and it's not that often we get really hot weather.
