New mk1

Do all mk1 gti's have a solid front disc? I had always thought they were ventilated; any advice or info appreciated.

New wheels fitted today; I know the general opinion is that 16inch is too big for a mk1 but I think they look spanking. Also could not get these in a 15inch.

Slightly more crashy than normal Ivor and a little bit of tramlining but remarkably ok considering. I think because the offset is the same as the standard wheel it is more balanced than the euro look cars with the modified arches. No rubbing that I can see at all despite being 7.5 inches wide.
