new bumpers and duck bill temp fitted. Need a bit of fettling to make them good.

same with rear bumper but a bit of time and im sure they will be ok. Wish they were as good a fit as arches but there the originals been treated to heat gun.

 

Looking like a MK1 again, it's nice when all the 'bits' get bolted back on again  

new winscreen fitted (£82 national windscreens) bit of a struggle by myself but got there in the end.

them bloody side deflector are awkward gets to fit but done now.

No breakages, good news!  

Seat belts rear cards and parcel shelf supports fitted. Theres a couple broken mounting holes in shelf supports wots best way to fix em?

Dash and heater to sort out tomoz and if I get time I'll paint handbrake, horn mount pedals and steering column.

No breakages hairyarse but a couple of paint chips on gutter fitting deflectors aaarrrrgggghhh.....

Oh no, gutted about the chips but should be a good colour to touch-in. Your car looks mint - amazing job  

Ref the parcel shelf supports, a good glue I guess if heat/melting plastic wont work. Two part like araldite meant for plastics. I used some to re-glue the glove box lid back together on a MK4 after repairing the locking mechanism and it held really well.

Rotten passenger side door window divider, struggling to get one so…

not bad, rust cut out and welded in new metal. Cleaned up and painted. Looks good but will still change it in future if i find a good 1.

drivers side just need to be re painted. 

all glass and refurbed divider fitted to doors. Finish looks good well pleased.

I see your dilemma though, particularly when it is on show at the top the window, i.e. not hidden inside the door.

The window seals should cover the edges and make it less noticeable.
