My cabby called Tabby

This is my little red cabby that I bought July 2009 and I've finally got on the road, just in time for winter! It's been a long and painful journey, but I'm still smiling from the first journey with top down.  I bought tabby from eBay and she was badly painted in blue/turquoise with red sparkles, it was love at first sight.  After a 50 mile journey home things started to go a bit wrong, but a handy husband soon fixed the leaks and the carbs and got me some new tyres before we set off to our first show - MK1 gathering 2009.  It was a step too far for tabby and she gave up in a car park stuck in 2nd gear with fuel, oil and water dripping everywhere.  Since then I think she's spent more time on the back of a recovery truck than on the road, but we never gave up and decided that only a total makeover would suffice.  We managed our first show this bank holiday at KKBO and actually won our first trophy, it was fantastic and we can't wait for next summer now.  I'm out in her nearly every day now and although there's still bits to do, I think she's perfect.  I hope you think so too.
