So after stupidly selling my 1990 white cabby (which was mint), I began wanting another.

I bought another 4 months ago and have been trying to fix it up.

It did have air-con and electric windows that the previous owner ripped out (why?) so I want to reinstate that. Need front door cards. It does not have the original.

I have replaced the front shocks and all fittings—flushed the system.

Paintwork needs doing but I need to get the car running right.

I need help fixing her up and finding out what is missing.

It stinks of fumes in the car after it's been running, I think it may be due to the pipe with tape on it in the photo. The car hits a limit of 4.5k rpm.

I also think it has bad earth. Anyone know what that wire is?
